CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE
Transport of animals is conducted in IATA compliant transporters and transport crates, adapted to the size of the animal. The weight of the animal carried in passenger's cabin should not exceed 8 kg with transport bag/container and the container itself must be large enough for the animal to stand in its natural position, to turn around and to lie down. The maximum size of containers/bags allowed in passenger's cabin is 52 cm (L) x 30 cm (W) x 30 cm (H). The pet must remain in its container throughout the entire flight. Containers for animals transported in the hold compartment must comply with IATA (International Air Transport Association) regulations.
The transport container must be large enough for the animal to stand in its natural position, to turn around and to lie down. The transport container must be designed to be leakproof, e.g. lined with absorbent material such as blankets. The container must be escape proof. We recommend sturdy plastic or wood containers made from harmless and non-toxic material.
Wire-mesh cages are not allowed. To prevent the animal from injuring itself, the interior of the container must not have any sharp corners, edges or nails. If the container has castors, these must be removed. Food and water bowls (empty) must be attached to the inside or the outside of the container. The material must be harmless and non-toxic.
Transport containers must have ventilation holes on at least three sides. The animal’s lead, harness or tether does not belong in the transport container – it must be tied or affixed to the top of the container or holded in a hand luggage. This ensures that there's no risk of the pet strangling itself in the container. Flight route is always chosen optimally, to ensure as short and direct journey as possible.
Primary place of pick up/delivery of the pets is the Frederic Chopin International Airport in Warsaw, unless the contract provides otherwise. Ordering Party is informed about exact date and time of pick up and delivery by an electronic form of communication as well as by a relevant contract.
